Ugh Chris and Kari are so cuuuuuute. And I'm really glad that Madison and Ben are being allowed into the baby-preparing fold. Just because they're not expecting doesn't mean that they can't want to be involved in their friends' excitin' times.

And I have a lot of Feelings about Eli being bashful when Kari cheek-kissed him. Precious Eli is precious.

Yeah, I liked this one as a way to bring in a little bit of Chris and Ben bonding. It's very Ben and Maddie to sort of impose themselves, but only when they think they're actually going to be useful, and obviously Chris and Kari moving into their house while Kari is heavily pregnant with twins is a time when a lot of help is needed, so to Chris, that's really decent of Ben, to want to help out someone he's never particularly been friends with, but obviously still cares about.

Chris and Ben never become the kind of friends that hang out on their own together, but when they all get together in group settings, they're pleased to see each other and are comfortable in each other's presence now.

Eli is not particularly used to female affection that does not come from his wife anymore XD (Plus there's probably part of him that still thinks about Nicky asking if he put Kari's babies in her tummy too...)

Chris just smiles as he climbs back into bed, pulling the covers up to his neck, and the corner of Kari's mouth lifts as she looks at him.

IDIOTS

"I hope it's okay that we came too," Madison says, raising her eyebrows. "We just wanted to help."
"We brought breakfast," Ben adds, holding up two large bags.

bIGGER IDIOTS

"It's not that hard, guys," Ben says, laughing softly.

"Not you and Eli," Madison replies with an arched eyebrow. "I brought this for Ben."

"You wanna know creepy," Hannah says, arching an eyebrow, "wait until they get a bunch of toys that play music, and they're all over the place, and you hear music coming from somewhere but you can't figure out where, and it won't stop until it's turned off or the batteries die."
