A wide smile instantly curves Kari's lips and she shakes her head. "Okay, I was trying to wait to tell you, but I just can't." She raises her eyebrows. "I'm pregnant."

A moment later, David comes wandering out of his office, frowning as he stares around.
"What's going on?"

Hannah laughs suddenly, and then claps her hand over her mouth. Kari stares at her in disbelief.
"Hannah, you're not -"
Hannah nods quickly, her eyes bright.

"Yeah, um, about that..." She grins and raises her eyebrows. "I'm pregnant."

Well, to be fair, his office is a little more removed than it used to be, so he's not right in the thick of things like he was XD AND MAYBE HE WAS ON THE PHONE OR SOMETHING.

I had to read this two times, because the first time all I could think about was the difference in Hannah and Madison's friendship because of last arc and how Madison found out in the second string of people (which includes David so obviously it's not an offense but ssh I'm wounded) and just a whole bunch of things and I just MY MADISON STAN IN ME IS MAKING ME NOT FULLY APPRECIATE KARI'S BEAUTY BECAUSE I KNOW IF I JUST GET OVER IT I'LL LOVE KARI SO MUCH BUT I'VE BEEN HURT SO BAAAD.

I'm really excited to see them go from mid-twenties adorableness to parents. The idea of Chris and Kari having twins is really cute and terrifying and precious to me, I can't wait to see how the foursome handle more parentin'. I also want some Grandparent Bonding and Auntie/Uncle bonding and goodness and let everyone just fall in love with the perfection that is babies.

So this is late, but this is such a cute chapter. CHRIS AND KARI ARE HAVING A BABY (BABIES!)! I'm so glad and excited and it's grand! I love love love it! I was a bit peeved by everyone hounding them to get a house. I mean it's completely understandable (especially since they are having two babies), but meh it bugged me. But anyway, the minute I saw the title, I KNEW it was Chris and Kari and Eli and Hannah. I just knew, I felt it in my bones.

And twins! How fitting for them. I'm so ready to see Chris tackle kids, twins especially.

And now, commentary that I hope is constructive... sometimes, when I'm reading (and I don't know if it's just me, it might be because I suck) I lose their voices. Like sometimes, it feels very monotonic in the sense that everyone sort of sounds the same sometimes and it's hard to differentiate which makes it hard to get into at times. And it's not throughout either, it's like at certain parts you lose it. BUT AGAIN, it might just be me being terrible.

Bring on the next one!

I was a bit peeved by everyone hounding them to get a house.
I like to think it's sort of an ongoing thing, everybody sort of teases them about still living in an apartment (while their apartment is fairly decently sized, it's just one bedroom, since it was just Kari before Chris moved in, so it's definitely not big enough for them and even one kid for any length of time), especially after they get married, and knowing that they do eventually want kids. I think it's something Kari's wanted a little more than Chris in a sense, and it's something she and Han probably talk about when they're together, but he's gotten complacent and keeps putting it off, so Kari getting pregnant is what sort of makes him start to be proactive about it.

But anyway, the minute I saw the title, I KNEW it was Chris and Kari and Eli and Hannah.
I like the title as sort of a twofer, referring to both Chris/Kari and Han/Eli, but also to the twin surprise at the end XD
