That's pretty much Han and Eli's relationship summed up, though, so really.

He just hates feeling like such a dude, and doesn't like seeming like he doesn't appreciate Han for all she is, even though she knows he does. I mean, even when Eli does objectify her, it's not long before he's just internally gushing over how perfect and wonderful she is, and thinking how much he loves her.
