usually at the Student Union there should be a place for that or on the University's website for clubs and organizations. there may already be one!

Dr. Svanovic is the guy you want to talk to. There's a new guy, but he's training him so just go directly to the source to start off with.

According to the email he sent about starting the Quiltbag group:

The student would first need to find a faculty member who would agree to be advisor
to the club. Advisor would be responsible for overseeing all club activities.

The faculty would need to contact me to advise that they have agreed to act as
advisor to the club. I would then send the paperwork to the proposed advisor.
Advisor would then need to submit club constitution and request for club recognition
form along with a list of names of at least 10 students who are interested in
forming this club.

The request must first be approved by VPSPA and then the SGA for official recognition.
