Well, in my first 20 years my map probably would have been more similar to yours! It's really only been in the last 4-5 years that I've done the most travelling. I used to live down south, and then my parents moved to PA, so as a child we would make a trip down south once a year, travelling through like 4 states! Now though, I've also moved/lived in Georgia, Missouri, and Utah. And my dad was a truck driver and took me on a week trip through like 10 states.
I have a feeling within the next 10 years yours might also look similar too!
Haha, I wish so but I'm not holding my breath. I don't plan on moving outside the state and tbh my proirities are a few other COUNTRIES first, then other states... and I'll be lucky to make those countries at this rate.
(Seriously, how do people ever get hired if they don't want to hire you without two years experience? If I could just get that first job and get those two years, I'd be set! At this rate, I'll have both my first degrees before I ever get my first minimum wage drive-thru job! lol)
Lol, the countries is what I'm working on next! I really want to go somewhere other than the US!
No idea about the job! I got lucky; my girl scout leader was a manager for a convenient store close by when I turned 16 and she got me the job. Right now, I'm wondering how you get a job when you've been out of work for two years! Might just be easier to go back to school and get another degree!
Most people I know with jobs got them because they knew somebody who put in a good word with the boss for them. I applied at fast food places and can't get hired.
I did all that training to be a substitute teacher and then when I turned in my application the person in charge of fingerprinting wasn't there, so I was told they would contact me when to come back... that never happened! Now I'm trying to get back in touch to see if I can get put on the November list, but they only do substitute stuff on Mondays, so it's not like I've got the most time in the world.
Seriously, I have no previous jobs OR references so I can't even get a job flipping hamburgers, lmao! It's pathetic and yet at the same time, quite amusing!
Ah well, thank God I don't have any bills to pay, you know? Some may call it 'mooching off your parents' but we call it 'well she can't pay for anything on her own and it isn't like she has a car, cell phone, or any other bills!' lmao!
