The general excitement in the air for the new year has Jack restless. Since the lights were still on at Kilrenko's shop, he decided to stop by. Maybe see what treats the aroma belonged to. Being in the village was starting to give him sweet tooth.

"Hey! What's going on in here?" he asked as he slipped inside the shop. "I thought you'd be partying at a bar or something with everyone else."

Jack frowned and tried to puzzle it out in his mind. "I feel weird. Kind of floaty. Maybe I'm allergic to apples. Is that how allergies work?"

[kilrenko]

"It could be," Kil admits with a slight frown of concern. "How do your lips and mouth feel?"

[jack_fr0st]

"Fine." Jack shrugged. He felt bit wobbly when he moved quickly, which made him giggle.

"Doesn't hurt, it's just...I don't know. Weird."

[kilrenko]

Kil looks at him. "Are we sure I gave you cider from the 'virgin' pot? Let me taste that..." she says as she reaches for her guest's mug.

Jack handed it over and shrugged. "Pretty sure. I dunno. I've never had a spiked drink before. How come - " he stopped for a second and had to refocus. "How come you're not are weird too?"

[kilrenko]

"I've had a lot of practice drinking," Kil explains as she tastes Jack's mug. She tastes her own and huffs a laugh. "I don't know how I did it, but yours has more booze than mine..."

Jack giggled again. "If I didn't know better, I would say you did that on purpose. This is...kinda fun! No wonder people drink all the time."

[kilrenko]

Kil laughs and hands back the mug. "Well, there's the hangover afterwards, if you drink too much. So don't go too crazy on it..."

[jack_fr0st]

"Pffft. I'll be fine!"

Probably not, but where was the fun in that? Jack took a big ole swill from the mug.

"Speaking of crazy. I was thinking about how fun it would be to freeze this stuff...and then I rememebered that you've got that slushie machine thing. I'm thinking we've got a perfect opportunity here!"

[kilrenko]

"I do! And I even put together the rocket I'd mentioned..."

[jack_fr0st]

"So here's a crazy idea..." Jack blinked, which seemed to take longer than usual. "Lets get that thing running, and then send a bunch into the sky to explode! And then I can make everything into a slushie wonderland! This is a great idea. The best ever!"

[kilrenko]

Kil's mellow enough to snort a laugh. "Sure, why not? I'm already dead, the worst they can do is jail us until they forget why they did it in the first place..." She sets her mug down and heads to the back room to get the supplies.
