Loki arrived, dressed to the nines in a nice suit, with green as the accent rather than the main. When he knocked, his free hand held a single rose to give to her.

"Oh my," Lana said. "You're looking particularly handsome tonight."

She leaned in to kiss him on the cheek then stepped back. "Come in, come in! Oh, and look!" She touched her earrings gently. "They're beautiful, thank you."

Loki smiled warmly at the kiss, his hand slipping around her waist for the moment before she pulled back.

"I couldn't help but notice. They look wonderful on you," he complimented her as he handed her the rare flower. "But that could be my bias; your beauty makes everything look better," he said as he stepped in so the door could close.

Lana blushed and ducked her head to smell the beautiful rose. "This is exquisite," she said. "I've never seen anything like it. And the scent of it... Beautiful. Where did you ever find a rose this color?"
