Giving? People being jolly? Santa?! Oh, yeah. That was Randy to a tee.
He was dusting shelves, humming happily to himself. Soon, the depression of not being with his brothers for the holiday would hit him and drag him down, but for the moment? He was a happy camper.

The woman with gold paint draped down her skin, in a thin t-shirt and jeans walks into the book shop. Her tail swings behind her curiously and her heels click on the floor as she walks.

For a long moment, she leaves it at that until she realizes that it's a little ... obvious.
"Your human 'Christmas' is coming, and I wish to give a present to Faramir. He was the librarian who gave me a name when we first met, and he is teaching me to read, so I know he likes to read; thus I wish to give him something he will like."
Hopefully that wasn't oversharing too badly... ?

Though if he was a librarian, he probably enjoyed a great many types of books. Lana, herself, would be happy with almost any book she was given.
"I'd be glad to help you find something."
And maybe find a book that the woman would like as well. If she was just learning to read, Lana was all about encouraging that any way she could.
