Christmas had a special little place in the heart of every angel, well, every angel that had been actively involved with it. Every angel that had been happy to be actively involved

Cas didn't dislike Christmas, but he still wasn't all that happy with the 'Big Man Upstairs' who... well, everyone knew He wasn't upstairs anymore. He remembered thinking, back in the day, that Jesus was alright though. They could have been good friends, probably.
Castiel would have ended up very differently if the Winchester Brothers were more like Jesus. The mannerisms he'd developed from both Dean and Sam wouldn't be there. The bad habits. The gung-ho attitude and suicidal tendencies... okay, so maybe some of that was Cas. It was hard to tell at this point.
He appeared next to Gabe, letting out a bit of a scoff because he knew exactly what his Brother was looking at. "Are you really thinking about buying that?"
Gabriel heard the beat of wings, loud and but slightly muffled like an Albatross was taking off in the room next door. That's why he didn't jump, but turned the glitzy statue over- glitter coming off in his hands.
"I'm not thinking about it. I know I'm buying it." He answered with a grin, before holding up the decidedly female figurine for comparison with his own features. "Uncanny valley or what?"
He was grinning brightly, knowing that of course there was no resemblance at all, but it still amused him. "Got to get in the holiday spirit Cassie. " He said, "Looks like they have another one over there. I'll get you it if you want."
"You're the only one that seems to think so. Well, they got the face right." They hadn't, of course, but it was Castiel's attempt at a joke.
"Christmas isn't really my thing. I don't even think that Anna put up any decorations when we roomed together. Besides, I don't think I need a miniature figure of you lying around my hotel room. I'd probably end up re-gifting it to Meg." The demon would get a kick out of it for sure.
Gabriel's actual face twisted in distaste. He certainly didn't have lips like that. Or that nose. Or carefully penciled-in eyebrows. He stuck his tongue out at his brother, deciding that was the best reply.
Gabriel didn't much like the idea of the demon-witch-creature having something meant to be a likeness of him lying around. "She'd stick pins in it." He countered, and gently set the statuette down.
"I'm surprised you aren't into Christmas. It's about love and caring for people. And joy and hope and all that stuff. This," He gestured to the tinsel and gaudy baubles strung around them, "This is just the manifestation of that. Besides-" He looked seriously at Castiel, "It's the patron holiday of people that like over-eating, watching sappy movies and snuggling up in front of a fire. I thought that was right up your alley."
Gabriel turned his head, looking over his shoulder at her and looking vaguely concerned. "Really? You think so? Do my lips really do that pouty thing?" He said, and as he spoke stuck his lips out like some sort of duck taking a MySpace picture.
Gabriel grinned in return, although still not sold on the duck look, whatever she said. He put the little look-alike down and smiled at her properly. She did look happier, more alive than he had seen her, well, before Castiel started messing with things none of the fully understood. He still hadn't chewed Cas a new one for that, but when Anna looked so, well, Anna, how could Gabriel be angry?
Aaron wasn't sure if he felt any different about Christmas since the whole Nephilim thing kicked it, but it was still a good time.
Gabriel's grace was rather impossible to miss (unless the archangel was really trying to hide it), so when Aaron sensed it nearby, he naturally went looking.
"You gonna get a sparkly outfit like that for yourself?" Aaron said, putting an arm around his uncle's shoulders.
Gabriel laughed, letting the tall young man lean on him as he continued to look at the little angel figure. Aaron never seemed to just say hi, like some of Gabriel's more stuck-up relations, but it was part of the kid's charm. "What, like that?" He asked, putting the angel into his shopping basket. "Kiddo, why would I need another one?" He asked, grinning.
"What about you? You getting into the holiday spirit?" Gabriel's eyebrows wriggled suggestively at that, saying no more.
"You know you're always welcome to climb my xmas tree." Aaron said, smirking.
"As for the holiday spirit, what's that, 'spend, baby, spend'?" The Nephilim laughed. "Nah, for real, it's ok I guess. How about you - planning to whip out any holiday miracles to cheer up the locals? And no, I don't mean the locals at The Sin."
Gabriel snorted a laugh. "Always wanted an angel perched on top have you?"
"Well, you have a candy store. You should be racking it in if you played your cards right. Chocolate tree decorations, candy canes, candy boxes." He winked. "Who doesn't like a bit of Christmas candy?"
When Aaron mentioned miracles, Gabriel simply shrugged. "No one has asked for any miracles yet. To me anyway."
