was in a good mood today as she brought in the groceries. She hummed quietly to herself as she put down the bags and began to unpack. She had a lot of food for the week, but she had something special for Sunday - it was always something special. Faith arrived with little Mary hanging in a papoose around her stomach, directing the now three year old Ed to knock on Mary and John's door. She was more than a little exhausted, trying to wrangle the boy now as well as Mary who still wasn't sleeping through the night. Dean would probably be following shortly.

Dean wasn't far behind Faith as he slid his hand over her back before reaching down to pick up Ed and shift him to his shoulders.

"Want something to drink?"

"I'll take a soda." she answered, Ed giggled, hands bunching Dean's hair. Faith smiled, "I'd love a beer, but that'll have to wait." Until she wasn't breastfeeding little Mary.

"And because I'm such a great guy, I won't flaunt a beer in front of you." Dean smirked and went to get them both a soda. When he returned, he handed one to Faith.

"Looks like a new kind came in or there was a sale." There was a couple six packs of the drink.

Dean watched Faith with their kids and that was something that he would never get used to but he loved. He had a family. He missed Sam a lot but he wouldn't give this up for anything.

He settled back on the couch with a soda in his hand that he sipped.

Krissy sat down next to Dean with a can of her own since she couldn't exactly drink. Plus, she still hated the taste of beer.

"It is still so weird that you're a dad, fyi."

"Yeah it's kind of weird for me, too." Dean said, which was the truth and not anything he'd lie about but it was a little odd that it popped out of his mouth.

"But I love it." Again the truth that he hadn't thought about saying.

"Yeah?" Krissy smiled. It was easy to see that Dean really did like it. "I think it kind of suits you."

She hadn't meant to say that, even if it was true, and decided to occupy her now a little embarrassed mind by taking a sip of soda.

The aroma in the kitchen had John coming out of back to slide his arm around Mary where she stood. It was before the family would arrive and he liked this quiet time before the chaos. Not that John didn't love the chaos, too.

"Mmmm, smells good."

"I'm okay with that, too." Her smiled warmed as she closed her eyes and inhaled softly John's ever familiar sent.

"This year has been really good so far."
