Faith knew it would happen any day now, but that didn't mean she was ready for it now. She'd been at the bar, just checking up on all the supplies and that everything was looking alright- then BAM! Her water broke all over the floor in the back of the Firecracker

Dean spent more time in hospitals and clinics than he ever wanted to in the village and out, but he'd never been more nervous than he was in this moment. He came running through the doors of the clinic and came to a sliding stop when he saw Faith in a wheelchair being pushed by a nurse.

"Hey. You know how to make a dull day more exciting."

Trying to keep her breathing steady, she looked up at the familiar voice, asking the nurse to slow down so he could catch up. She was glad he was here, even if she might be yelling at him later as the labor pains got worse. But he could take it.

"That's me, always giving birth to make sure things aren't boring."

Dean slid his hand in hers and leaned down to kiss her temple. "Well since it was partly my fault, I figured I should at least show up and let you cuss at me."

"And you know I will be." Faith noted as they were taken into a room and the nurses helped her up and gave her the dressing gown she'd have to get into before the doctor could look her over. "My water broke all over the back room of the Firecracker- feel sorry for the new guy I ask to clean it."

She didn't exactly have the time or desire to lean down to clean it up herself.
