An Unusual Event (ota, tag Cavil)

Alissa's walking toward the park when she stops along the path. There's something different on a low hanging branch of the tree. It's a cocoon, which is odd for the time of year, and so Alissa feels the need to go closer and examine it further

John was reading on a bench nearby. He glanced up and then rolled his eyes.

Alissa's aware someone's watching her. She turns and looks at the man. He's older and new to the village.

"Do you plan on staring at me the entire time I read?" He put down the newspaper to look at the girl again.

"My interest is not with you." Alissa turns back to look at the cocoon, but she can't help feeling a little miffed.
