Baking brownies (Closed to Gabriel)

Cas hadn't needed much convincing when it came to helping Anna get back to her normal self. Anna wasn't going to have a huge say in the matter, however, and neither were Lucifer or Gabriel. But, some more information on the subject of Grace and 'angel lobotomies' was needed and since Castiel was on better terms with Gabe now, he figured why not try ( Read more... )

The figure that opened the door was Gabriel, although not how he might normally have appeared. But Castiel should have at least been expecting the honey-blonde woman wearing a My Little Pony apron. "There's a Justin Bieber one for you." Gabriel said brightly, moving away from the door, letting Castiel shut it behind him.

Gabriel hadn't been lying when he said he had a nice kitchen- it was one of the things he'd designed and redesigned during his boredom. It took up most of the original space of the hotel room, it's black counter tops littered with juicers and doughnut makers and cake-lolly molds. Frankly it was highly unlikely that he didn't have at least one of every useless kitchen gadget ever somewhere in there.

The arch-angel settled on a stool at the breakfast bar, sweeping candy-bar remains onto the floor- where they vanished- and grinned a disarmingly wicked feminine grin. "I thought you were going to get changed before you got here."

He honestly had no idea who Justin Bieber was, but Cas didn't think he had to mention it. Aprons and a giant kitchen? His brother surprised him sometimes. "Well, I know you like disguises, but I'm not sure we have to dress like stereotypical housewives."

This was said in good humor right before Cas changed his form. It went much more smoothly than before. Now, if only he'd be able to concentrate and keep it right while he also focused on making delicious brownies from scratch.

Castiel had been living under a rock for too long, but Gabriel didn't point that out as often as he should. "Why not? You're lucky you didn't get here five minutes before when I had to kick a hunk out of my room." Gabriel said with a laugh. No doubt Castiel would have been completely embarrassed, and from that point of view Gabriel was sorry he'd not let the muscle-bound hottie sleep in a bit longer.

He did at least make an approving noise when Castiel changed. "Much better kiddo. You're getting good." He said, resting his chin in his hand.

"Come on then Chef, what do you want me to do first."

Cas took the apron Gabe had referred to before, frowning as he looked it over, and then tossed it aside. No way was he going to wear that.

Of course, then what Gabriel was talking about actually began to register, and Cas couldn't help but make a somewhat terrified and grossed out face. "Really? I thought tall, leggy females were your type. Then again, everyone is taller than you in that vessel."

Cas looked pretty smug about that last part. Haha, Dean would be proud. Sam might have even chuckled at it if he had overheard.

He began pulling the ingredients out of his bags and started explaining where to start. "Well, first we need to mix the butter and cocoa powder together. Or I have chocolate which we'd have to melt with the butter. Do you have a preference?"
