Dancing and Dinner (Backdated [liek whoah] to June 21st, tag to Caprica)

Since the only ballrooms Kilrenko knows are in the opera house and the hotel, she opted to set up her date with Caprica in the hotel. Not that she was opposed to dancing out at the opera house, it would feel a little strange to ask her director for permission to use his venue for a private date... since she'd hit on him recently

Caprica did not know that Kilrenko went through all the trouble the she did to organize the night's event. What she did know was that she felt a little bit nervous about the date. A part of her worried this was going to go terribly wrong and another part of her worried it wouldn't.

She wore the white dress she had been looking at in the window that Kilrenko seemed to like. At six, Caprica appeared at the elevators and walked into the lobby, eyes looking for Kilrenko and finding her quickly. She smiled softly.

Kil smiles and straightens up on seeing Caprica. The smile she returns to the Cylon is ... a little eager, a lot hopeful and a little nervous.

"I was right," she says softly. "You are beautiful, and the dress is stunning on you. Thank you for coming."

"Thank you." She looked down at herself when Kilrenko complimented her. Caprica was used to wearing bolder colors for bolder purpose and so the white dress was a new experience for her.

"Of course I came." She would never do something as terrible as stand someone up.

Kil is relieved to see others here for the ballroom event. "You're welcome," she returns. "Shall we go in?"
