In the foyer of the Golden Ratio Building, Christopher prepares to deal with the demon that has been causing so much pain to the woman he loves. He lights the inscense burners placed on the circle of light that is projected onto the floor where he placed the unconscious Leah, then those on the perfect triangle that is projected right in front of

"You're in the hotel lobby," Khan answered with a tone bordering on patronizing. He took in Christopher's look and added, "You're not where you were, if you weren't here a moment ago."

A hotel, that fits what he sees. "Which hotel? There are many in Glasgow," he inquires calmly, deciding to ignore the logic of not being where he was if he wasn't here a moment ago.

He takes a moment to study this man, sensing this is a man of some power. Can he be some manifestation of the demon? Probably not, but he's underestimated the demon once, he'll be more careful now.

"You're not in Glasgow. You're in a pocket dimension called 'Haurvatat,'" Khan said. "This place seems to have no easily discoverable way in or out."

Christopher shows no outward sign of surprise as he takes in the explanation. He's not really familiar with pocket dimensions, but maybe it's a different name for the demonic realm.

"Interesting. So this is a test of sorts, to see if I can find the way out?" No easily discoverable way does make it sound like a challenge.
