Sunshine on the beach (ota)

It was a lovely day out and Aphrodite decided to spend it out on the beach. She was currently being 'modest' in the bathing suit she had on as she lounge on a towel which was sandless - a seemingly impossible task when one wanted to lie on the beach. She had a large daiquiri complete with mini umbrella beside her as she lay on her back, sunbathing

Standing amidst the trees at the edge of the beach, the creature watched people. Ah, to feel the sun on his skin. Yet even though he had only met kindness in the village, he was still wary of coming in to contact with people. So, he crouched in the long grass, feeling sand between his toes and he watched, breathing in the salt air.

While Aphrodite liked beautiful things, it would surprise most on Olympus to know she didn't necessarily shy away from ugly things. Sure, she definitely hated fish and ugly people in general were a no-go. But those were ugly people inside and out.

She rolled onto she stomach, knees bent so her feet were daintily up in the air. She lifted her drink in the direction of the disfigured man. "Care for a drink?" She wiggled it about a little.

The creature turned ot make sure that no one was behind him, then around. No, the beautiful woman was apparently speaking to him. Jerkily, he shook his head in immediate reaction. Then he nodded his head. He would like a drink.

But he didn't move just yet.

Perhaps a little of him reminded her of Hephaestus. She did miss him, most of the time.

She lifted her head a little and raised a slight eyebrow. Then Aphrodite pressed her cold drink to her lips and sucked through the straw.

"Mmmm." She closed her eyes and licked her lips after as if it was the most refreshing thing ever.
