Jack had no idea what the village was thinking when it gave him a key to a business. Sure, it was a cool business - who didn't like sweets and ice cream?? Jack grinned at the new comer and shrugged. Being seen by random people was becoming less startling every day. Though it was pretty funny seeing the faces of those that couldn't see him watch a "one-sided" conversation like this.

"Yeah, you could say that. Nothing worse than melted ice cream," he said, and flipped an ice cream scoop over and over. "What's your flavor?"

Gabriel pondered for a moment, looking down at the tubs. The trouble with ice-cream was that pretty much every flavor was gold.

"Pineapple and coconut." He said, after a moment, "So did you set this up by yourself, or was this sold to you as an interesting business opportunity you couldn't avoid?"

"Pineapple and coconut it is!" Jack worked two large scoops from the tub in the case and plopped them securely into a waffle cone. "Definitely was a surprise. I was thinking about throwing my hat into the employment ring here, but I guess someone decided an owner that half the customers can't see was a really good idea. Go figure."

The Winter Spirit held up the cone. The scoops were perfectly frozen still, not a drip in sight - a perk of being Jack Frost "Sprinkles? Whip cream? Cherry?"
