Balthazar appeared in the room shortly thereafter with the soft sound of fluttering wings. He had a stoic expression on his face, but his eyes held concern.

Castiel had literally ran through every scenario possible in his head over and over again, but he had not come up with a way to help Anna. He had found that the only ways he could get to Lucifer were very amoral (a big surprise, sure) and most of them wouldn't work because he didn't have enough resources here. Not to mention... though his Brother was holding Mary Winchester's life at stake as a bargaining tool, he hadn't yet hurt anyone except for Abaddon.

Cas had certainly killed for less in the past. But, again, he lacked resources. Still, he thought he had more time.

As soon as it happened, he knew. He appeared in Anna's room not long after Balthazar. It was more than a bit of a shock to find Anna gone.

"No." He said softly, though the rage he felt made him want to scream it. He had truly failed her. Again.

[[Sounds good!]]

Lucifer arrived without any sound and came from the kitchen area. His hands slipped into the pockets of his dress pants.

"About time," He said with a smile.

Even though Balthazar had been in the village for a while around Lucifer, it didn't make Balthazar feel any more comfortable with him being around.

"You certainly look pleased with yourself..." Which wasn't a compliment and his tone said so, even if it was a bit guarded.
