Andrej had been brooding for months. He had rarely left his room since the missive came removing him as Chief Medical at the clinic. He did not know what he had done. Did it matter

There were many people in the clinic the day after the village-wide epidemic. It had been hard to find a cure, but somehow they had done it and people were back to normal now - as normal as possible, anyways.
She just finished her rounds when a nurse mentioned that Andrej was waiting for her. She was surprised, but in a good way. Martha just hoped he wasn't here because he was sick or something.
"Doctor Koscuisko." She smiled to him as she approached him.
Andrej bowed slightly. "Dr. Jones, how do you go?" He didn't wait for an answer. "Would you have a few minutes? I would a topic discuss with you. I can make an appointment ..." His voice trailed off. She was busy and he knew that. Patients took precedence over him. He would never think less of Dr. Jones if she could not see him immediately.
Andrej followed. He was a bit surprised that Dr. Jones bypassed the office around the corner from the waiting area. The office that he used when he was Chief Medical. But she did not lead him to her office. Instead it was the staff lounge. Interesting.
He waited for her to take a seat. At his nod his security had remained in the hall. There was no rhyti made; he had not been to the clinic in some time. Any leaf he had left would be spoiled anyway. He might be forced to resort to coffee, the local name for bean tea.
"Dr. Jones, I am not sure how to ask but simply to, well, ask. I would still practice medicine, doctor, if I may. I was removed as Chief Medical, yes. I have the missive reviewed several times. But it does not say that I may not practice."
He wanted to practice. Without the healing aspect he was an Inquisitor. Did the village expect him to Inquire?

Martha gestured for him to follow her to the staff lounge. It'd be more comfortable than a sterile check-up room.
(ooc: Sorry for taking so long D: )
