The door swung open a second later, almost as if Scott had heard him coming before he had even knocked, and he offered a small smile at the sight of his best friend. Of course the smile was quickly concerned as he stepped back to usher him in.

"What's wrong?"

"What? Nothing." He tried to lie, though he assumed Scott could totally see past that. "Nothings wrong, why would there be anything wrong?"

"Stiles, you know I know when you're lying, right?" Scott shut the door once he was inside.

"Well, okay. So, I'm better than I was." Stiles grimaced and moved to sit over on Scott's couch. He knew his best bud didn't have to offer him a seat to make himself at home.

"I guess I should first start by telling you that Erica and Boyd... well, they didn't make it, Scott. They're dead."
