Hell is Breaking Loose - OTA + Police

Jan 05, 2014 18:48

There were three locked rooms at the Sin tonight. The doors didn't rattle on their hinges, there was no screaming or sounds of breaking glass from inside the rooms, no sign that the single occupants were even there. In fact, there were only five people in the establishment that knew they were there: the three people that had been attacked, one ( Read more... )

Whatever was in the water was making Jace's life more interesting (and here, he'd been getting bored). Having Marks for speed, strength, agility, dexterity ... well, you get the idea, he had his angelblades strapped to his back and had already used them a few times.

He was following the loudest shouts and that's why he was peering into the Sin.

The man, being of sturdier and heavier build, managed to throw Draco off. The wizard got him under the chin with a solid boot heel, reveled in the blood that was spat out. Hopefully the man had bitten his own tongue off. Now wouldn't that be poetic justice?

Fed up with the foolishness, Draco finally got a hand on his wand and stunned the man into unconsciousness. He didn't care if the idiot choked to death on his own blood.

"Not bad," Jace noted, stepping in, one blade in hand, though it wasn't yet named.

Draco looked up from the floor and rolled his eyes. "Shut up and help me up," he said with a hand held out.

Fuck did his head ever hurt. He suspected that damn bottle had left some pretty souvenirs too.

Being the police chief at a time like this really sucked. Everyone was busy and Hale was closest to the Sin, so he took the assignment. He walked in the find chaos.

He paused, surveyed the scene, then the siren whistled out a harmonious melody that could quell even the most restless of horses.

Draco more or less fell off the man once the whistling knocked some sense back into him. The wizard spelled him into bonds, and might have made them tighter than necessary.

"The authorities, I presume?" he said, and made no move to get off the floor, instead choosing to lean his back against the bar. "Forgive me for not standing. I am Draco Malfoy, the less than pleased manager. How do you do?"

Once everyone seemed to stop fighting, Hale stopped whistling and reached for his phone to dial the clinic. It was a nice set up that kid Eli had created. One button for the clinic, one for the fire, and one for the cops and his gps would tell them were to go.

He nodded about the authorities being here. "Sorry we took so long. The paramedics are on their way. I'm Hale." No real sense in explaining he was the chief of police. It didn't actually matter.

"What happened?" Hale moved his discerning gaze to the man in constraints.

"I have a feeling the paramedics are quite busy tonight," Draco said with dark humor. "Well. I can't simply say it was a bar fight as we've never had such trouble before."

The wizard nudged the restrained man with his boot heel. "This bastard was arguing with my bartender. When I requested that he leave, he got me with a bottle," he said, motioning towards the blood on his face from the head wound. "I suppose everyone else took that as their cue to beat the shit out of one another."
