Martin enters the library sporting several fierce looking scratches on his cheek and hands, the rest of him is hidden from sight under his clothes

Glinda looked up, seeing the man. Well, more specifically, hearing the man. She made her way over.
"Not that I'm against any excitement in the mutified place, but may I be of assistance?" She asked, noticing the scratches, "Oh, dear, how did that happen?" She asked.
Martin furrows his brow, definitely confused by now. "Uhm, right. It just shows how little I know about magic, I suppose," he says in his defence. He doesn't want to appear too stupid or a scaredy-cat, but things you don't understand just are a little scary. "Maybe I'll need to get a book on that next time." It's a feeble attempt to joke.
"My wife puts so much confidence in books. If you would like to learn about magic, I'd be happy to help. I promise you, you will learn more from an actual practicer than any book. Would you like to fly outside? I'm getting off anyway, and I can give you a ride back to the hotel." She offered.
"Uhm, yes. Flying outside sounds good." Tempting, intriguing, Martin can't really help himself when it comes to flying, even if it's in a way he can't understand. "And I should get back to Cat and hopefully figure out what made him so mad." He gives the book a hopeful glance.
"Magic in my world is all about tricks," he ads. "There are some very famous magicians, but their magic is just tricks, not like your magic." At least he can't see any way this could be a trick. And in this village he can believe in actual magic.
"Yes, I've been introduced to Earth magic. Our great Wizard was from Earth," Glinda said, with a nod, "He convinced the people of Oz he had great power, but in reality it was all illusion."
Leading him outside, she reformed the bubble, floating them up slowly, and towards the hotel.
"What's your cat's name?" Glinda asked, smiling again.
Martin gives her a sheepish look before he answers. "Cat. I thought if a character on a TV show can have a dog named Dog, why shouldn't I have a cat named Cat? And I named him before I knew his gender. So Cat seemed a safe bet."
"It seems a good name to me, but did you ask the Cat? I mean, you might get a little offended too, if I called you Man instead of Martin!" Glinda said, giggling a little more, "What were you doing when Cat attacked you?" She asked, a touch more serious. Animals were more Elphaba's cup of tea, but she would try, anyway.
"Just Man isn't that bad," Martin replies. He's been called 'Little Man' before, he definitely was offended by that.
"Do you think Cat understands the meaning of his name? And - I wasn't doing anything. Well, not to Cat. I was practising flying on Miscrosoft Flight Simulator. I don't want to get out of practice while I'm stuck here."
It's surprising how stable the bobble is. It doesn't seem to bend due to air pressure as it moves. "What's your bubble made of? It seems very sturdy."
"Oh, I'm sure Cat does. Names and titles seem to be important to every creature, perhaps it is to him, too. In Oz, Animals could speak, like you and I. He would simply tell you, but I doubt it works that way here," Glinda said, before thinking on his other question, "I'm not certain, to be honest. I was told by the wizard is was a manifestorium of my bubbly personality, but I learned a long time ago not to trust anything that charlitan said." She said, smiling as an idea hit her, "Perhaps it was the sounds from what what you were doing. Does this simulator make sounds?" Glinda asked, not sure what the simulator was.
Talking animals?! Martin only knows that from films and cartoons. So far Cat has not said a word except from meow, if that is a word. he shakes his head in amazement at the Glinda's world.
When she shares her last idea, Martin pales a little at the thought of his beloved flight practice making his new pet wild.
"Oh. Well, yes. It does. It has ATC announcements and the warnings have sounds, you can also toggle the engine sounds... I really, really hope it's not that!"
Please God, let it not be that. Or Cat might have to move to Legolas after all. He just can't give up his flying!
"It may be that. There hearing is rather sensitive. Perhaps you can try turning it down some, if it's adjustable like the picture thingy...What did Elphie call it?" She took a moment to think about it, "Oh, yes, TV."
Turning it down.. that gives Martin an idea. "I could use headphones! But I am going to read the book, too, just to make sure I'm not doing everything wrong and Cat is just generally annoyed with me."
"Not that I'm against any excitement in the mutified place, but may I be of assistance?" She asked, noticing the scratches, "Oh, dear, how did that happen?" She asked.
