Just coming back from her run, Joan slowed when she saw the child all alone. She stood where she was at a distance, hands on her hips as she looked around. No adult in sight. Decision made, she took a few steps closer, smiling. "Hi," she said as she approached.

Lilly had admittedly never seen a woman like the one walking towards her, before. It drew her curiosity out, so much that in fact she even spoke.

"'i.." She had just caught onto the whole speaking thing, having spent 5 years of her young life in the wilderness. "Si' here quie'y an'I be righ'back..." It was a repeat of what the NPC nurse from the clinic had told her, if not slightly skewed on her inexperienced tongue.

She had had lots of names, there was Lilly, of course.. but there was also 'stop doing that!' and 'I told you a hundred times not to bite the cat!' But Lilly figured that the woman meant her real name.

"Lil'y." Watching her closely, gaze following the woman as she crouched down, Lilly's fingers stilled over the grass pile and the beetle who hand long since disappeared into the landscape.
