All in all, it seemed to palliate the dog, so there really wasn't much to say on the negative about the golden eyes.
A quick glance around at the gathered people, most of the lot behind the boy, proved that not a single one of them had seen it, though they were all looking bloody grateful about the dog being calmed down.
Peter stood on the edge of the crowd, waiting until the boy stood up again, a good foot or so away from him. "Amazing bit with the eyes," he paused, looking over to the dog who still watched Sideburns expectantly. "Definitely better than the stunts my Nan saw down at the Old Mo."

Then he froze, his eyes turning towards the other guy standing nearby. The guy who had seen what he did. "Uh..." He had been told by a few people that things were more easy going here, that people were more open about the supernatural stuff, but he still looked a bit unsure of himself.
"Thanks." He said finally before giving him a bit of a confused look. "The Old Mo?"

"Yeh, she used to pop around t'the Old Mo down in Drury Lane..." a pause, eyebrows lifting. "Middlesex? Variety shows?" He might as well've said Neptune. But enough of that, maybe there was a group of Neptunians floating around Haurvatat as they spoke.
"Are you some sort of a dog, then? Maybe a werewolf?" He'd seen one, but unlike Warren Zevon's song, it had been in Ipswitch, not London.

"Uh, I'm...a werewolf." Yes, it was still very strange to be so open about that sort of thing. "My name is also Scott." He held out a hand.

Kyla, herself, was framed on either side by dogs. On her left was Ripper, a mostly Bullmastif mix and on her right was Ginger, a red-haired Husky. Both sat obediently when she came to a stand still.
"That was nice of you." She appreciated people who could deal with animals. Kyla had not seen the whole eye thing.

For a moment he looked almost uneasy, like he was worried he had been caught at something, but then he relaxed with a small smile. "He was scared, it made sense to step in."
