Jack was still a crack shot, but that was only because he made it a point to practice. Which was what found him at the shooting range this afternoon. Such an infernal racket! While Don Quixote did believe in the importance of weapons in the fight against those things less than chivalrous, he was more prone to a sword and sheild, not something that made such a great, sharp noise. And all this yarn! He knew not what to make of it

Letting Rocinante graze in the longer grass, Don Quixote came closer, proclaiming, "I say! I say I say!"

"And what is it they call you, fair armored one?"

He held out a hand, "Garrus Vakarian."

Unused to more modern cultures, Don Quixote bowed at the waist, nearly toppling himself over before he righted himself. "Good greeting and hallo."

He dropped his three taloned hand, but brought both up again when he thought the man might fall, "Good... greeting to you too."

That the warrior did not remove what Don Quixote thought was a mask made the knight frown for a moment, brows drawing together. "Will you not show me your face, new friend?"

"What?" Garrus was baffled. Okay so he had his eyepiece on, but he wasn't exactly obscuring his face.

But he did move to take it off, sliding it off his head, "There... is that better?"

"But it is the habit of honorable me to show each other their faces." Merely removing one part of it seemed ... disrespectful.

The knight's famous and rapid-fire temper began to rise.

"Uh... I am showing you my face." he chuffed, his mandibles flaring, as he tried to figure out what the man was going on about.

"Well, then I say that you hardly look like any man I've seen!" declared Don Quixote, wishing he had brought his sword. "Were I armed, I would challenge you to a duel!"

Garrus straightened a bit, but was still incredulous, "Would you? Just because I'm funny looking?"

Something registered in the foggy recesses of the hildago's addled mind that spoke to him, sounding much like Sancho.

"Are you not, then, like other men?"

Clearly this man wasn't one that was familiar with aliens. So maybe it was best not to confuse him.

"No, I'm not like other men."

Unafraid, Don Quixote walked closer, brows knit in consternation. "Is this not your armor?" Knock, knock! his knuckles against Garrus's chest.

"Well, that is." he looked down at his chest, "But..." Garrus gestured to his face, "This? Not so much."

"My, my. What a marvel. You are from some future time, are you not?" quizzed one Don Quixote, making no bones of poking at Garrus's face.
