Paris had heard about Kerai's wedding and came carrying a small pottery vase (from his era)filled with flowers as a gift for the couple. He searched for the bride and handed her the vase, "I wasn't sure what would be appropriate. I didn't think a small heard of sheep would do." He blushed, he probably sounded stupid. "Anyways, congratulations."

OCC Paris would be there for the entire ceremony, he just wont approach the bride until afterwards

"Thank you, this is lovely." She examined the vase, marveling at its workmanship, and put it in a safe place where it could be admired, without being knocked over. She chuckled.

"Were we at home, a small herd of sheep would be a very appropriate, and generous gift."

Paris relaxed and smiled, she had a marvelous way of making him feel not so awkward, like a kinder older sister. Except of course, Paris believed Kerai to be younger than he at least by a few years. "I'm glad you like the gift. I wish you and your husband a life time of happiness."

"Thank you. I wish that too, but I will take every day that we're granted with gratitude, since it's more than ever I expected." She looked at him, closely.

"How have you been? Are you finding any light to guide you on your path?"

Really, Felecia's biggest challenge was to not dress more brightly than the bride and phew, did she know that would be a challenge! So, she'd gone for floral with a wide-brimmed hat. How happy Kerai looked! Even if her hubby was rather ... well, plain, really.

But to each their own, yes? And hurray love! And weddings! And cake!

It didn't matter to Kerai if others outshone her on this day. She was happier to admire, than to be admired. She greeted Felecia with joy.

"Look at you, decorating the place for me," she said, gesturing to show that she meant Felecia's presence was the decoration.

"Thank you for coming. Have you had some cake?"

"Kerai! The lovely bride! Mwah!" Felecia bussed both cheeks. "Not yet! How are you, darling! You're positively glowing!"

"I will accept 'lovely', in the sense of 'full of love'," Kerai laughed, returning the greeting in kind. "You're looking fairly luminous yourself, I'm pleased to see. And I'm happier than it seems possible for a human creature to be. So much so, that I'm half afraid I'll be hungover tomorrow." She pulled Felecia toward the food table.

"Chocolate, pineapple upside down, both?"

During or after ceremony, let me know faramir_hurin June 8 2013, 15:37:09 UTC
My ranger clothing from home is freshly washed, the boots and leather doublet as clean as they can be--just like at Boromir's wedding. Still, they are plain, every day clothes with only the silver on the embossed White Tree of the doublet being 'fancy'. I feel comfortable in it. I have also made and brought a small, plain white flag. I'll be making a wall banner, solid white, as a wedding gift. They need not put it up, but I do mean to treat Kerai as a sister, and so she can now fly the Hurin banner.

Admittedly, I was somewhat surprised to see who was officiating the ceremony. He asked me to call him Erik, so I will until I am told differently.

Penny and I came together*, though she knows that I'll be standing up at the ceremony. All told, I feel it is a fine day.

*Decided in OOM.
Can also tag before ceremony (Penny, Kerai, Chuck) if appropriate. Just let me know when it is.

*[Things before or during ceremony can be referred to]

Once she was properly married, and shared a kiss with Chuck, Kerai turned to Faramir, putting her hand on his arm, and smiling up into his face.

"I wish that someday you may feel as much joy as I do today."

"Perhaps I will, though I feel joy enough today." I take a deep breath, content. "I did not know it would come to this, never dreamed it, but this is the happiness I hoped you would find."

I had no dreams of Kerai's future back when she had to choose between Chuck and myself. I did want her to be happy and so she is: the correct choice was made.

"You look wonderful." I think she glows.

"I feel wonderful. I love Chuck so much that I love everybody." If that makes any sense.

[[This is open and after the ceremony! Tag Kerai and Chuck, tag Anna, --- ooh we could have a thread with all 4 of them! And gentle nudge Death.]]

Cas loved weddings, though he hadn't really been to that many. Okay, so did his own count? Because that was the only one. It had been pretty simple too, except there was a more religious undertone, which he had at least found comforting as the amnesiac Emmanuel. Now he was glad that Chuck and Kerai had gone in a different direction. Oh, and they had more music than he and Daphne had, but that is a given.

He was here with Anna, and she looked beautiful, though maybe it was the music and the Weave getting to him, but he didn't really mind. Cas had gotten the happy couple a gift too: a box he'd made himself (out of paper mache, and looking similar to this one), painted, and covered with knitted flowers that he also made on his own. Nothing was inside the box, it was for them to put keepsakes in ( ... )

Kerai was delighted by the present.

"It's beautiful." She smiled up at Castiel. "Thank you. Are you having a good time?"

Oh no, it was so not like a child bringing home noodle art to his mother and father, was it? At least Cas wouldn't know such a reference if someone decided to say it.

Well, Kerai had been the one to suggest Castiel try knitting, and he found that he was actually pretty decent at it. And he didn't remember ever painting before, but he found he enjoyed that a lot too.

He was trying a lot of new things lately. For example, he wasn't wearing his trench coat so much, but today he did have his white button-up shirt and blue tie back on. And he hadn't bothered to shave yet, deciding that he might stick with this look for a while. Anna seemed to like it and Balthazar said he looked 'rugged' so Cas supposed he liked the change for now.

He smiled back as he handed the box over to Kerai. "I am, I like weddings." Well, he usually liked happy occasions, and he had never heard of an unhappy wedding before.

"The last one I went to didn't go so well. It ended up with the mother of the bride a laughing stock, and me kicked out of the family, so this one has it beat like a drum so far." She laughed, and looked around for Chuck.

Kieren wasn't sure if he should come. But Kerai had been so nice to him, that when he heard she was getting married, he felt he should at least show up and congratulate her.

"Kieren!" Kerai walked over, smiling, as if his presence were what she needed to make her day complete, and even hugged him.

"Thank you for coming. How are you?" As if she hadn't seen him just that morning to give him his dose.

Kieren felt a bit embarrassed to be so happy that she at least seemed glad to see him. He grinned and took out a small present he'd bought for her .
"I'm fine, glad to see your party is going well."
he offers her the present.

It's nothing special just a small crystal guitar he'd spotted that had looked pretty to him.

"This is beautitul. Thank you, Kieren. I wish I could offer you something." But he couldn't eat.

"Do you like music, at least?"
