Steve hadn't slept all night, and even managed to pull a graveyard shift in town. Yesterday he had found a stack of old vinyls in his room. Vinyls that belonged to his parents. Zoe wasn't normally a pub person, preferring places with dancing because this reminded her too much of the Rammer Jammer. Too much of Wade who she'd successfully drove out of her mind for a good week. That was progress.

When she stepped inside, she saw Steve and debated between saying hello and avoiding out of embarrassment of thinking he'd been a figment of her imagination on her arrival. Sucking it up, she headed toward the bar counter, "Okay least I can do after thinking you were in my head is buy you a drink." She said in way of greeting when she slid on the stool.

Steve had finally forgotten all about Selina Kyle, and the name hadn't crossed his mind in weeks. He knew how hard it was to "get over" someone, especially in this place, where you feel unconditionally alone.

When her soft voice trailed over the pub music, he turned his head with a smile on his face. "Aloha." He offered her a wider smile, "I'd appreciate that. I'm drinking Longboard Ale. It's a Hawaiian delight."

"Well okay then." She turned to the bartender, "two Longboard Ales." Zoe swung her seat around to look at him more fully. "So what makes it a Hawaiian delight?"

He leans in. Steve has had a handful of beers already, and was feeling quite social and comfortable. "It's made in Hawaii, on the big island. There's really nothing better than homemade beer."
