Castiel has never had a picnic before, but the weather was beautiful and he was in a very good mood. Of course, it wasn't your ordinary picnic, however: He'd ordered a lot of food from Las Manantas and was willing to share. There were beverages too, and a blanket was laid out on the ground because it wouldn't actually be a picnic without a blanket

"Think of it as a celebration of Spring." Even though it had almost been Spring for half a month now.

"Mmm. Something smells real good!" He grinned as he approached, planning to continue to walk by.

"I'll help feed the army by donating some delicious shrimp." Kamekona sat down, which took a moment and wasn't entirely graceful considering his size. Once sitting, he held out his containers.

Just Castiel, no 'angel of the lord' speech yet.

As he'd discussed with Castiel, Aaron had with him a couple of large bags of assorted candy, the Nephilim's strength carrying them easily enough.
Spotting the angel in the park, Aaron made his way over.
"Castiel, hello." Aaron said, settling the bags of candy on one of the edges of the blanket. "How are you doing?"

He rummaged through one of the bags, coming out with a small tin of chocolate-covered strawberries which he offered to the angel. "As promised. Not as good as you'd get in the chocolate shop, but still tasty."

And then he chuckled softly. "I think you were overestimating how many friends I have. But, yes I'm sure we can get kids to take some."

From some distance away came a woman's voice.
"Oh my gawd, don't let him eat refried beans!"

Cas stared at the giant cat and pulled the containers of food closer to himself, raising a brow. "I... okay, do you want me to make sure he doesn't eat anything, then?"

"Um, he could probably get that food from you, if he really wanted it." There was a lot of food for one guy, though it looked like he expected company. "He doesn't need it. It's not like he doesn't get fed or can't catch his own."
Mughi turned.
"Well, he can't get Mexican because he doesn't have credit at the Mexican place. He runs tabs at a couple of bars, but that's for the Irish coffee."
Yuri petted her cat.
"I'm Yuri and this is Mughi. He understands when we talk and he just asked if you had any chicken anything in there." She rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry. Sometimes he forgets the universe does not exist to spoil him."
Actually he'd asked specifically about chimichangas, but that sounded kind of pervy to ask a strange guy about so Yuri generalized the request.

Cas didn't think the cat actually could get the food from him, but it wasn't something he was willing to say in case it decided it wanted to try after all.
Mughi confused him, because he was definitely not an ordinary cat. He didn't seem like some sort of demon animal either, though. And it made him sad that he couldn't understand his language, because Cas was actually pretty good at reading animals. Not that he couldn't 'read' him some other way. After all, it'd been kind of obvious that he'd been hungry.
He searched through one of the containers and pulled out three chicken tacos (no refried beans on those) and set them on a plate to put out in front of him. "These are chicken."
