Steve had decided that he would take the whole weekend off from working, which is a rare thing for this overworker to do but he felt like he needed to relax, get out, be social. He was becoming far too content with spending his time in two places: his room, or the beach. It had been a while since Selina had left the village, and she was slowly ( Read more... )

Letty was already at the bar with a Corona half drank. She was unwinding from a day at the garage meaning that her hair was up in a pony tail and there was still faint traces of grease under the finger nails and a few soft smudges on her arms where she couldn't quite reach. She was in a black tank top and leather pants with the familiar dog tags around her neck. A dark red leather jacket hung on the back of the bar stool where she sat.

When she saw the guy come in, she gave him a once over. "You look like you need a drink." Her voice was a little raspy by nature.

Extending a hand, he offered a friendly smile. "Steve McGarrett." Not like his last name meant much here, but that's just how he was used to introducing himself.

She wasn't a big hand shaker, but she shook his hand anyways. She had a firm handshake. Always did. "Letty."

She motioned to the bartender to brag him a beer. "First one's on me."

Free beer. No grown man would ever pass that up, but he made a mental note to return the favor. "Ah. Mahalo. I'll take a Longboard." He had certainly missed his home stat's beer, and was overjoyed to know that the bar carried it. Must be another magical part of this place.

"Are those dog tags yours?"
