Happy St. Patrick's Day - OTA

Oliver knew that it would be a busy night at In and Out. Any holiday that celebrated getting drunk, meant a shit ton of people. It was also a good excuse for him to keep up his persona and to meet people in the village. He'd volunteered for double shift to help out Kenzi with crowd control, too. Part of the time he was serving drinks and other ( Read more... )

Gambit was there too, probably looking pretty conspicuous. He had a look about him that caught people's eye. Like his own red glowing eyes.

He was there mostly to keep an eye on Kenzi and help out if he needed to, as well. Not that she'd asked him too. But he was a worried boyfriend.

That was strange to. Being a boyfriend.

He ordered another drink as he looked around the bar, giving Oliver a small nod in greeting when their eyes caught in the crowd.

Oliver returned the upnod. He'd seen him around Kenzi but they'd never talked and when he looked closely this time he noticed the red eyes. That was different. He made his way over to the guy. "Hey. Remy right?"

He smiled a bit, although slightly apprehensive. After all it never set well with him to be known by someone he didn't know so well. Remy knew he worked for Kenzi though so that made him less nervous about it, "Dat's me."

Remy reached out a gloved hand, "Remy LeBeau. And you are?"

"Oliver Queen. Kenzi talks about you." He shook his hand. "Almost as much as my little sister talks about Tommy." Oliver made it a point to reference his sister in comparison to Kenzi.

Brigid could not let the holiday go by, without at least acknowledging it, she was not going to be raucous about it. She in her shantung silk suit, and silk stockings, and elegant emerald shamrock brooch, walked with grace and dignity through the throng of revelers, and sat upon and empty stool at the bar. She sat close to the divide between 'in' and 'out' and her gaze lingered appreciatively on both men and women, but only on the more elegant specimens of either gender.

"A shot of the Tyrconnel single malt, please," she ordered, when asked.

"Now that's something I haven't heard in a while." Oliver said with a smile as he brought out the bottle. "Normally people just say whiskey." The Irish lilt was something else he hadn't heard in a while.

She raised her brows in mock horror.

"What, and risk getting a shot of Johnny Walker?" She shook her head. "That would be bad enough on a normal day, but today it would be tragic. Will you drink a toast with me? I'll buy."

"As if I would turn down a beautiful woman's request and for a toast to the Irish? Never." Oliver poured her a drink and himself one before raising his glass and clicking it against hers.

Kenzi was in a damn good mood but that probably had something to do with the fact that she liked drinking and she liked parties.

Tossing back a shot of her own as she moved down the bar, she reached to poke Oliver in the side as she passed. "Having fun?"

"Who doesn't love a good party?" Oliver winked at Kenzi. "And an excuse to drink? Always a good thing."

"A true party-person doesn't need an excuse." She winked back.

"Very true. A day that ends in Y is as good as any other." Oliver chuckled.

After finishing the day at the Eagle's Nest, Jo had thought about going back to the hotel but she didn't feel like going back to an empty room. Most days that was fine but there was times when it wasn't.

So she went to In & Out instead.

Sliding up to the bar, she waited till she caught the bartender's eye, grinning a bit at Oliver as she leaned against the bar. "So, you got green beer or something?"

"Now what self respecting bar wouldn't have green beer on St. Patrick's Day?" Oliver teased her. "Is that what I can get for you?"

"Sure, why not? Got to try something new every once in awhile, right?" Jo chuckled, settling on a stool before glancing over her shoulder. "Kind of crazy tonight."

"St Patrick's and New Years will bring it out." Oliver chuckled with a nod, pouring her a draft. "Even in a small village cut off from everything."
