It was March. March. It was not supposed to 45 degree Fahrenheit in the middle of the day, especially on a Sunday afternoon. This village was crazy. So Kamekona decided he was going to go on strike. He was striking this weather

A warm breeze that had absolutely nothing to do with the heaters surrounding him blew over toward the man. Ororo smiled as she did it. Anyone that would be stubborn enough to demand warmth on a chilly day should get it.
The warm breeze was definitely much appreciated and much more even than the heaters could provide. Not that he could account for the new change in temperature, though he did lift his sunglasses and look up at the sky as if to see if there was some sort of concentrated sun beam on him.
The warm breeze surrounded Ororo as well, lifting her white hair as she approached him. "Are you an optimist that hopes for warmer weather if you give it a little push?"
She was definitely a looker. Not Hawaiian, but not a Haole either. He smiled at her as she approached. "They say that's what we'll get with global warming. Not that it seems to be working. Almost expect it to snow again." Pouty Hawaiian faced man on the beach was pouty - snow was not nice.
Melanie was generally fairly indifferent to the weather, in terms of giving a crap, and today was no different. She was dressed appropriately as she went for a jog on the beach, though -- just because she didn't care about the temperature didn't mean she wasn't going to dress for it.
She came to a stop when she saw the man in the chair. "You look comfortable," she said dryly.
"That's a shame. Everybody should live near or on a beach, in my opinion. Would mellow everyone out. No more wars." He nodded as if to emphasize this truth.
Kamekona did the same gesture in response, lifting up the sunglasses - which were not really needed on a day like today - and looked at Steve. "Relaxing in my home-made piece of Hawaii. The village is taking too long for my liking."
"I hear ya, I hear ya. I'm so ready for warmer weather." Steve sighed as he took a seat in the sand next to him. He hadn't had much time to stop and actually speak with Kamekona in a while. "How's business?"
"Great!" It really was. "Got this billion-dollar playboy type to endorse some of my new shrimp dishes and while not a lot of people know who he is, the women like his face and that's good enough for them to buy more from me." He had a big smile on his face. Marketing worked.
"What about you? How's you and Ms. Kyle?" Yes, he did refer to her as such.
