Renesmee was thankful that she had been taught so well by Sonya, Tyr and Dimitri -- because these things that were attacking their Village were horrible. She had her Chi bracelets on in their usual places, but today she was also carrying her sword and the silver stake Dimitri had given her for her birthday.

Fire the bracelets, slash, stab.

Ares had been having fun watching mortals scramble, but there was also a lot of fun killing things. He hadn't done that in a while. He noticed a dark haired girl, one that he'd seen around Tyr (one of the very few true warriors in the village) and on a whim decided to help rather than hinder.

A ball of fire came out from the god's fingers and engulfed one of the creatures.

Renesmee told her head a fraction of an inch to see who else was here. When she saw the man, she nodded a thank you quickly as she swung her sword at one of the creatures that slashed his blades at her.

She had no idea what these things were, but the blades could apparently cut even her skin if they slashed hard enough. As she hit her closest attacker with her sword, she brought her other hand up to stab him through the neck with her stake.

She was good, that was impressive but did she have the drive to do whatever was necessary? Ares would watch. "Nice moves." He said not bothering taking another one out, but watching as she dealt with the creature. "Find the weakness and exploit it. Take the head off, make sure it's dead."

"Working on it," she responded, dropping her stake into her belt so she could grab the creature's head and twist. As she twisted, she lifted and his head separated from his body.

They weren't human, vampire or werewolf and they were attacking the Village. Therefore, she had no problem killing them like they seemed to want to kill her.

She threw the head as she turned to face another one of the attackers.

Renesmee has another person coming to her aid, she'd see Dimitri in action she'd never seen him in before. She was getting to see his flurry of movement as he did battle with creatures. He was simply armed with his stake, it was what he was best with, his duster billowing behind him as he moved.

She would have smiled at Dimitri if she had been free to do so. This whole thing was so bizarre, but she was so glad to see that he was all right.

She pulled back to use her stake against the eye socket of one of the attackers.

Dimitri watched her out of the corner of his eye as he dispatched of a few armless men. Though one of them managed to spit acid at him, it wasn't until it ate through his duster that he felt the pain. It showed on his face briefly before he simply kept going.

The acid spitting would be how Renesmee had realized that there were things that could hurt her, earlier. She tried not to show concern over Dimitri's attackers since she had ones of her own.

The next creature she fought with wasn't one that was scraping blades. The closest one to her had no eyes and smelled like the worst thing she could think of.
