Eve was drawn toward the chaos, though those on the ground were not her children but humans with corrupt minds. She walked through the park, bare foot, and in a simple white dress making her look quite young. Only one Reaver tried to attack her and its fate was quickly decided as it exploded before it even got near her.
Her eyes fell on Destruction and she walked towards him calmly. "For someone with your talents, you do not seem to be enjoying this."
"And yet you seem to not get any satisfaction out of it." Eve knew that when she saw her children acting as they were made, it brought her pride and enjoyment.
"Destruction is a part of life, even the creation of life destroys something. To hate what I am, would be folly. I hate how what I am is manipulated and warped for mortals own ends. I fear... what their evolution would cause me to become."
"He believes that his children, as lost and destructive as they are becoming, would not benefit from his words or appearance. I, on the other hand, feel like it's a parent's duty to occasionally help your children when they are in need."
"And what if I said what you were would be less manipulated if He stepped up in his role as a father?" Eve was partly unhappy that Destruction seemed to think Chuck was valid in any way, but then, Eve has a bone to pick with Chuck,
