She exhaled softly and felt her feet move towards him before her mind had gathered the courage to do so. They hadn't really talked about it - Kyla was nervous to bring it up. Would it make things worse? Would it make things hurt more? She didn't feel capable of talking about things like this.
"Hey." She gave Leoben a small smile as she rounded the bench. Ripper walked around her and right up to Leoben and plopped his big mass in front of him while Ginger remained standing as if surveying the area.

She actually found that she liked to run when no one was chasing her. It was nice to set your own pace and push yourself.
