There are some things that Inara won't take for granted anymore. One, and it's a big one, is being able to go outside any time she wanted. To (if the weather is cooperating) go out and feel the sun on her face at any given moment. It's a reason she's greatly enjoying the village. Underneath all the make-up, all the costumes, Adam was an Aussie (among other things!) and therefore, he liked the sun. He was very glad too that it wasn't terribly hot, like an Alice summer. It was especially nice being a Sunday and he could relax after an arduous weekend of performances, so he appeared on the roof, towel over his shoulder, trunks low, hair tousled. He spread his towel out and sank onto the chaise with a happy groan. He perched his sunglasses on his nose and gave a smile to the other inhabitant. "G'day," he said, eyes already closed, face to the sun.

Inara looks over with a little smile, not bothered to have company. In fact, rather attractive company was never unwelcome. She's never heard an accent like that before, so she surmises he must be from earth that was.

"Might as well get lounging in now, before it's unbearably hot," she comments, her own eyes closed.

"Oh, I know. Though I wonder if it will get as hot as I'm used to. Aussie summers can be scorching," Adam noted, his mouth the only thing moving. "And I know, I know. I shouldn't lay out, skin cancer and all that, but I can't help it!"

"Once every now and then isn't likely to be what kills you," Inara says hopefully. She has no idea, but she's dying at home anyway. She's not sure it matters.

"Where is 'Aussie?' she asks, assuming that's the place he's from.

It is about time that I get to work on my tan so I put on a suit and head to the roof. Mughi gave me a look before I left so I suspect he'll be along.

Someone else is up here already. I may not be able to set up my zone.

"Hey, cute suit. Do you mind if I upend some of the lounge chairs and make a wall? I like to do an all-over tan." Grin.

Inara's anything but prude, and she opens her eyes, shielding them from the sun. "Thank you. And no, I don't mind."

She's a lot of things, but prude isn't one of them.

I've got a lounge chair back there and a cooler and a trashy romance and I'm set. I shuck my suit and lay down.

"Feel free to come on back if you don't want lines."

Inara thinks about it for a second, and then gets up, following Kei. "You know, this is a good idea," she says as she takes off her bikini. "I'm Inara, by the way."

Settling back down, she mostly regrets not having sunglasses in the village yet.
