Father Sam kept an eye on the sanctuary, and the people that came in, and greeted those who came looking as if they were looking for someone to speak to. Those that came to pray, he left alone until they were done. With the thoughtful ones, he first, gave them some space and time, then he came and sat near them, quietly, his presence an offering if they wished to speak, and able to be ignored if they did not.
