It was this shift in personality that had Becker deciding that this was the perfect time of day -- such as it was -- to approach someone about a job. It wasn't quite abseiling down a ventilation shaft, but as he approached the building slowly, he couldn't help but think of when Danny had done that exact thing.
So he was smiling to himself as he moved around the building slowly, checking it out before committing to a course of action.

She got up and headed over to the file cabinet. There were files in there from when Ranger was in charge and she knew there was a file on the casino in there.

That probably managed to pick him up anyway, he had a feeling; there wasn't enough cover outside to completely avoid it.
He moved along the edge of the building, looking for any way in. And then there he had it. The opening to the ventilation system.

Hanging up, she slipped the casino files and the rest of what she had in the desk drawer.
