Into the Woods (tag Desire? and anyone else that might be in the woods)
Kerai had gone to The Sin on Thursday night, thinking that she would be less conspicuous in a crowd. The place looked promising until she had been greeted by the housemaster--the very handsome, and unmistakably Nurail housemaster.
Of course that could be only one person, Andrej's bond troop, and Kerai had fled in a panic.
She knew everyone would tell her that Andrej would not bother her here, that this was not Jurisdiction space, that it was not illegal to be what she was, and she hated herself for the pure unreasoning animal panic that washed over her when she thought about it.
She was also still very much in the hormonal state that drove her to The Sin in the first place. And she was very much still crushing on both Faramir and Shawn, but they made it clear they didn't think of her that way--who could really, so skinny she was? But to know that all she had to do was sing to them to get what her body wanted...it was hard.
But she didn't just want what her body wanted...and that hurt too. She wanted someone to want her, maybe even love? But that felt impossible.
So Kerai had taken herself and her hormones and her power* out into the woods, to weave her frustration to the trees, leaning against one sturdy trunk, she slammed her head back into it in time to her singing.
"I want you. I want you so bad. I want you. I want you so bad it's driving me mad, it's driving me mad."
*Kerai can make others feel the emotions in the songs she sings. It is possible of course that your pup might be resistant or even immune to this power, or super sensitive, your choice. I would think tone deaf pups might be at least resistant, if not immune, and androids of course.
