Tightropes can be tricky things [ota]

He stood, watching, held back by the villagers, watching their house burn. Mother! He struggled against them, hearing the screams of his parents in his own head as he watched, unable to do anything, wracked with guilt. It was all his fault.

But what he imagined in the fire changed. From Ghislaine... to Marian. Looking at him with accusing eyes.

"You killed me, Guy of Gisborne."

"No."

Guy moaned in his sleep, turning over, thrashing slightly.

"You killed me. And they will find out." Marian paused, looking at him. "It's only a matter of time."

Guy's eyes flew open, as he took in a ragged breath. Half the day had gone already. The wineskin that lay beside him where he'd collapsed on the floor. He hauled himself up, and looked out of the window, blinking against the sunlight.

No work, no reason to be inside. He hadn't seen Hood for months, not since Vaisey's arrival. Thankfully he hadn't seen Vaisey either. Isabella and Meg worried him, though, with their news.

He clutched as his head as he moved. He knew in part it was because of the wine he'd drunk, but it was more. Marian. She wouldn't leave him alone. Every time he moved, she was there, mocking him.

The demons were talking to him.

He staggered out of his room and down the stairs. He needed more wine, then he needed to be outside, away from the building that still had so many memories. He could see her. He wasn't sure what was real anymore.

[ooc: Yeah, Guy is going slightly insane. Catch him in the lobby, or heading out to the park. He'll be by the lake. Please note, he is armed with his sword, and he is never afraid to use it]
