Working towards summer (Open)
I've been busy lately, even if it hasn't been with anything very important. I'm going outside more and walking the entirety of the village as though it were a patrol, though not all at once. I've watched spring's transition to late spring with so much enjoyment.
I haven't been spending too much time with people. Work and reading lessons with Shasta and Glaurnaneth, but those are not really social times. I need to speak to Glaurnaneth some time when I'm not her teacher. It would take much of the shadow from my heart to know what it is she expects of me when our child... hatches. Even if she wishes me to have no part, knowing will at least prepare me. I'm fairly certain that is the source of much of my stress.
There are nightmares, but varied. I've dreamed about Freddy Krueger they they are not the same as the dreams he sent me. All else is fairly predictable and not too bad.
I work and see people there: I see Sophie also. Perhaps we might try a movie even though I don't really know what to think of them and she prefers more unusual things, whatever they are. It could be fun.

There is a restaurant and a bakery, and something called an arcade, which seems to be about noise from what little I know of it. It's next to the cinema and is some sort of entertainment. It makes me smile to see all of these things, even not knowing what they are. New people keep arriving and the village looks to be doing very well. These are the times I most enjoy it here.
