Calum absently rubbed his shoulder as he headed for home, thinking of a hot shower and maybe a nap on the couch before the hockey. Or during. Preferably before. All his little aches and domesticity was forgotten when he saw Felicia sitting there, looking like that.

He slipped up behind him, resting his hands on his shoulders for a moment before sliding around in a soft embrace.

Felicia chuckled. "Colin. Benji keeps getting bored while hiding and going off to pick flowers."

Calum laughed. "Sounds about right."

"But they're having fun, and we'll have a nice bouquet of flowers for our living room."

"Maybe I'll have to buy you more flowers, so they won't be lonely."

"Bah. I'd rather you bought me a new toaster, ours is on the fritz again."

It was then that Felicia realized just how domestic he'd become, and he laughed softly at himself.

Calum laughed as he realised the same thing. "Flowers and a toaster."

Felicia giggled softly. "Shouldn't we be saving up so we can send all of our future children to good colleges?"

"I'll just have to work harder then." Calum cradled him closer and kissed his temple.

Felicia smiled. "Or we could use some of my savings..."

"I think that's one thing I wouldn't mind you usin' 'em for." Calum smiled against his forehead. "Our kids gotta wind up smarter'n me."

"Hey now, you were smart enough to bag yourself a pretty little husband, weren't you?"

"It weren't my looks?"

"Mmm, those too, love."

"I'm thinking it was more luck than smarts or looks that brought me you."

"It was." Felicia kissed him softly. "My luck."
