Dinner, but not Thanksgiving dinner (closed to Sophie)

Nov 21, 2007 20:12

Pre-dated to 22 November, obviously.

It is a holiday today. It's an Earth holiday I remember from last year. I should stop thinking of them as Earth holidays, since this one is specific to the United States, though other countries have 'Thanksgiving' or harvest festivals, just not as the Americans do. Americans seem to make themselves known.

Since neither of us celebrate and many do, I thought it would be a good evening to take Sophie to dinner. It's a little earlier than we would normally go but I had no work and we can spend more time. We eat slowly enough as it is and talk a lot, but there's nothing wrong with taking even more time. There is no one to rush us.

For amusement, I am dressed in my clothing from home. I just felt it was appropriate for today and it might make Sophie laugh. I knock on the door, ready for a fine evening.
