Man, long is usually not a good enough excuse for me. Everything I write is too long. But life kind of exploded in the last couple of months for both of us, I think. This shall be finished now that things have calmed down a bit!

Oh my God, this is beautiful. I'm not kidding. It's amazing. I await the conclusion with bated breath. (Or is it baited breath? It's late and I'm sick. I have no idea. Whatever. I'm really excited to see how it concludes.)

It's bated (shortening of "abated"), but people use "baited" so often these days that it'll probably change at some point. God damn you, ever-evolving English language!

As usual (with your stuff) I got sucked into the story and forgot to think.

Still, I can't believe I didn't guess. Maybe the strong S/T lean threw me off, you rarely go there.

That's true! Tale of Two Guitarists is the only one I think I've actually posted anywhere that's gone there... There's an unfinished S/T fic I was working on with Gwynbones pre-breakup that was based on Stephen King's Misery, but it was so meandering and weird and dark that we never finished it. I couldn't quite figure out where I wanted it to go.
