partially because it's true, partially because it's so very Dethklok...

ok, i admit it, i haven't read this fic yet (one of us mods has read it, of course... i'm just not that mod). >_>

but! that one line, in itself? is absolutely perfect, i agree.

it also -- i must admit -- reminds me very much of my recent post. (which makes it that much more awesome, for being included in an s/t story.)

EEEEEEEEE~ /obligatory squeal of delight *cough*

I enjoyed this tremendously. First, bringing out Skwisgaar's feelings under such circumstances came off very real. From the initial dismissiveness/indifference toward her to the progression of it getting to him, bringing out that side of Skwisgaar can be trick, but you really nailed it.

And Toki. ♥ Being as understanding as he was, he was just a joy throughout this whole story. I love that he took some initiative, on top of being tolerant of Skwisgaar being... well, Skwisgaar. xD

I especially appreciate how the dynamic transitioned through this story. Not too rushed, not too dragged on, no questionable moments. It was just right. It ran seamlessly, really sold it. And I love that so damn much.

I'm going to have to second the_ginga about the burning shit line. xD Perfect ( ... )

i... would probably agree with everything you just said, if i'd had time to read the story yet. (why haven't i?! *headdesk*)

but for now, i'll just say this: i am literally overjoyed to see your reaction! this is some pretty brilliant feedback; i can't imagine the author being anything but ecstatic to hear how much you've enjoyed your gift. <3!

and? you make it sound like quite a tempting read. i must find time for it myself, as soon as i can!

VERY glad you liked it, because I was sort of worried you might not (I know it's a little angsty, subject matter wise... which isn't exactly Valentinesesque).

I am also glad you requested it, since this isn't a pairing I do a lot of. :D

C:

I couldn't stop laughing after He, on the other hand, almost had a heart attack. "Whoa, shits! Where does you guys comes from?!"

"Uh, America," Nathan explained, less than helpfully. "This morning. You look like shit."

Then it kept coming until the very end of it. Good read

I just decided this was not exactly a useful comment, so I'll add something..even though I'm at loss for words here, seriously. and that hardly ever happens to me. This story DEVASTATED me. It's terrible. I love it so much :'(

I cannot start pointing out lines, because there are too many. This is written perfectly. Every line is exactly how it should be, and so is the next one. There is nothing -nothing- about it that doesn't fit or make sense. The fun, and the grief, and this strange, tormenting distance that fights to become closeness.. it's heart-breaking. The characters are walking on a mine field that is their life; future and past. They cannot be saved, and this made me enjoy this story just as much as I must loathe it.. because really, it left me so upset!!

Don't get me wrong. I haven't read anything like this on here, ever. I probably never will. thank you

GUH, i love this comment. so much. i didn't write the fic... but still. seeing feedback like this makes me insanely happy. as does knowing that there's actually writing out here on the internet that can inspire feelings like this in someone.

...and in my own fandom, at that.

*deep sigh*
