She sniffs slightly at the complex scents wafting from the food in the room, her head tilted slightly. If potatoes were good... this will be absolutely stunning, her senses tell her.

"Pardon me, I was impolite enough to forget to give it. I am Faramir from room 150." I smile somewhat sheepishly. "Properly, Captain Lord Faramir, son of Denethor, from Gondor."
If I'm going to be polite, I should be fully polite and not by halves.

At the comment about his cooking he smiled as he stood a bit taller with pride. "Thank you, I devoted a few years of my youth to mastering how to cook. I found a passion for French cuisine and have not stopped cooking my own food since."

"I know little of French cuisine but am very curious. Several people I have known here in the village were French." Including Sophie. "I have even learned a little of the French language."
I cannot help the smile.
"So I am not the only man who cooks. I am sure my skill is not so great as yours, though it has improved." The cooking captain, and won't my father be proud.

"Before coming to the village, I only very rarely had cooked food," Glaurnaneth comments.

At the woman's comment he motioned towards the table. "I find sushi to be quite enjoyable as well." It was an assumption that this woman was referring to raw fish.

"I'm afraid that I do not share an appreciation for sushi. I understand the concept better than when I first heard of it and have tried it more than once, but I prefer my fish cooked." Let him think ill of me for that, perhaps, but it is the truth.
I'm not sure what to say about Glaurnaneth. It should be obvious because of her tail that she is not human. I suppose I should let her speak for herself.
