Arrival of a Call Girl - OTA

Belle was trying to convince herself that what happened with Alex didn't really bother her. Life knocks you down, you get back up and the best distraction was work. Which was why she'd gone back to Stephanie to see if she had a job and a sex party with high powered politicians was the perfect distraction. What she hadn't expected, though she ( Read more... )

I see the long dress and think for a moment it's someone from an old-fashioned place. But there's something about it, a look, that makes me think it's not someone's ordinary clothing. I don't think the hair is entirely natural either, but it's hard to tell in a place with green skin, blue hair, and non-humans.

"Good day, my lady. Where were you that you've a glass in your hand?" We're not near a bar or pub and it's not the Halloween costume holiday.

The wig is throwing him off. He'll note it's Bell soon enough--unless you'd rather he not mention it.

Belle raised the flute in a bit of salute in answer to his question. She assumed that he was part of the ambiance to the party that somehow got moved to a village without Belle realizing it.

"It was a lovely party with champagne that I hope has made the journey here as well."

[ooc: Heck no, feel free to have him recognize her! Is he dressed in his Middle Earth clothes or village clothes?]

"There is no party, my lady." I'm not dressed for one, wearing one of my ordinary shirts and regular trousers. A knife in my boot isn't what people think of for a party, at least not one where people are dressed like she is drinking champagne.

"You're in the village of Haurvatat. Where was the party?" Not here.

So it seemed they hadn't rented the party for the day, that was a bit disappointing. It only meant that she had to chose carefully who she approached. Not that much of a problem, she could do this. Though she still assumed he was a part of it because no one used the phrase 'my lady'. At least not out of a regency period or talking to someone a hell of lot higher on the social ladder than she was.

"On an estate, I assume that not far from here." As she hoped she hadn't been drugged that long, or whatever it was that they'd done.

"There are no estates in the village. I believe you are not where you think you are." Perhaps her confusion is more than usual because she has been drinking. "You are in a village called Haurvatat. I don't know what country because we can't leave the village."

I hope she is not too intoxicated.

"Where was the estate? Was it in England?" She has that sound about her.

It seemed she got dropped off in a village and her first contact was with a nutter. Bloody brilliant that was.

"Yeah it was." Belle nodded, "Just outside London." She'd call Ben to come pick her up. There wouldn't be cabs this far out and obviously the party hadn't got moved here.

"There are people from London here, a number of places in England." At least I got the accent right.

She doesn't appear terribly concerned and might be more intoxicated than she should be to leave her in the park.

"We stay in the hotel. I can show you where it is if you like."

The hotel, that would be perfect. At least she could call Ben and find Bambi. Or if the party had moved, it might have moved to a hotel, though why Belle had no idea.

"Yeah, that'd be great, thanks. I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name."

"It is not far, this way." There is something familiar about this young lady and it's not because she's got that long hair like the girl here with much longer hair, Rapunzel.

"Pardon my rudeness. My name is Faramir." I think that's enough for someone who's been drinking. Though she does seem relatively sober.

It was on the tip of her tongue to say Rapunzel but that was sort of moot by now as he obviously wasn't part of the party.

"I'm Belle." She pushed her hair from over her shoulder to behind her back as she began walking with him toward the hotel.

"Yes, that's it." I knew she was familiar. "Belle. We met once before..."

Well, obviously not this one.

"That is, I met you but I don't think you'll remember me." I've just made things even more confusing as well as slowing our trip to the hotel.

"Sorry?" Belle was pretty sure she would remember this village though admittedly some villages blended together in England. She might not remember his name but she was very good with faces. As she asked the question, she mentally went through her rolodex of people she'd slept with (not necessarily all clients.)

It might take a bit, it was well over a thousand men.

"It's hard to explain--I should not have said anything." It was her but not the same her. "We weren't... it wasn't for your work, or mine."

Just one night she couldn't sleep and was restless. Since she's from a big city I can understand that.

I really should not have said anything. There's no way to explain how I met her without her having met me.

Belle had almost completed her rolodex of people and realized that he wasn't a customer or lover but how was it that he knew her.

"You're saying I've been here before?" Was it a rufie? She didn't have gaps in her memory but then how would she know if she did.

"Yes. But not you, exactly." I'm going to sound smarter or totally mad. "It's possible because of something called infinite... theory of infinite universes? I did not understand when it was explained to me, I only know that I have met people I knew before and they did not know me. It was them but not the same version of them, if that makes any sense."

I hope it does.

Oh she got a real nutter, brilliant. It sounded like something out of a scifi show that Ben would watch.

"A bit like the road not traveled? What would have happened if I'd turned left instead of right?"
