Jack was in an odd place at the moment. He was happy about just whatever it was developing between himself and Charles, but guilty for what he'd said to Felecia. He hadn't wanted anything serious and hadn't sought it with any of the people he'd slept with here in the village. So he hoped he hadn't given the wrong impression to anyone else.
