The weekend was chaotic and full of hurt people which made everything at the clinic seem a little short staffed. As a result, she's worked a double shift and part of another before sitting with Laura for a while, not wanting to leave her badly injured friend. But finally, Martha had come around and made her leave, and it was just as well. Jonah is still with Erica and she needs to pick him up as soon as she can.
As she walks back to the hotel, she takes in the destruction and shakes her head. She's still wearing her doctor's coat and realizes it when someone stops her to look at their cut up arm. But once that's all bandaged, she gets into the hotel and one of the couches looks very, very inviting. So that's where she stops, sitting for a second. Before she knows it, she's asleep on the couch, not really caring much that she's in the middle of the lobby.
