Ways to prove I'm sorry (Tag Leoben, backdated to V-Day)
It would be a lie to say that Kyla knew exactly what she was doing as she walked up to Leoben's door and knocked. Ginger and Ripper were out with J.L. which left her feeling particularly bare which was compounded by the fact she was wearing a white dress. The woman at the store explained that you couldn't wear black on Valentine's Day, but apparently red and pink were 'over done.' Kyla would have worn the same dress from Christmas, but she had been told that if she wanted to make an impression, it was normal to buy a new dress. So there she was.
Kyla was feeling guilty lately about a couple of things and most of them revolved around Leoben. She was worried she hadn't handled the whole J.L. showing up thing right and that Leoben felt she was ashamed of him. She didn't, but that was probably how it came off. Things were... complicated.
So she stood there, in a dress and white flats, holding a single purple hyacinth in her hand. She knocked on his door and felt a momentary rush for the need to flee, but it left as quickly as it came.
