The Craziest Dream (Closed to Leoben)

Nov 21, 2011 10:56

When Kyla reached that stage of sleep where she was technically awake, but far to relaxed to move, she slowly became aware that her surroundings weren't her normal ones. Even though her eyes were closed, something felt different. She couldn't put her finger on it, but the sound in the room, the feel of the bed - it all felt different. It could just be the way she was coming out of a daze, but she prided herself on always being hyper aware of her surroundings.

She forced herself to open her eyes and she knew immediately the ceiling she was looking at was not her ceiling. Slowly, she looked around without moving a muscle in order to not give away that she had awakened in case someone was watching her. It didn't seem like anyone else was in the room, so she slowly shifted until she was sitting up in the bed. The room looked foreign, but there was something familiar about it all the same. Even what she was wearing wasn't hers. While Kyla didn't know it was called a Hawaiian shirt, she knew enough to know it was a guys and she most definitely didn't own it. What the hell was going on here?

Then suddenly she felt the headache hit her like a bag of potatoes. She leaned forward, her hand coming up to her forehead and slowly images started coming to her. The dumpster, waffles... had that all been real?
